cell phone pouch

I made these cell phone pouches from the canvas cloth which is normally used for painting and also used cotton designer fabric, some wooden beads and satin ribbon. I gave these pouches to my daughters for their Valentine's Day 2011 gifts.

 You know what,  For this 2010 thanksgiving my husband bought me a sewing machine which I wanted for a long time.

I am just a beginner. I made two small pillows and one Tote bag. I love to learn different things. For beginners like me, Klutz™ products really comes in handy.

The Second Project I made with same theme with quilt design  a Tote Bag to carry a ipad, books and for small things.

Materials you need.

Cotton design  cloth

16 square blocks for two sides so you need 32 square blocks total.

2 sewn patchwork blocks

2 large fabric squares.

2 long fabric strips for strap.

2 border pieces.

scissors

pen for marking seam line.

pins

pressing tool.

sewing machines or making with hand
